Wrong. Technology improvements are not "carefully fed in to the
market". They are introduced in a state of panic that the competition
will introduce a better product sooner. When you buy your next home
computer, you will buy the most powerful machine you can get for the
money you want to spend. You will have little sympathy for a vendor
who tells you that you really do not need the most cost effective
system that is available.
