I'll never forget my February drive from Boston to Florida in a wild
snow storm (read that as heavy flurries, fellow New Englanders) and
seeing dozens of North Carolinian's stuck in three-inch snowbanks at
the side of the Interstate. The only cars moving had NY, Conn., and
MA license plates.

>Hey, man, it's the best we can do 'round these parts.

>You may be amused to know that what you saw in those photos resulted
>in hundreds of fender-benders and traffic nightmares including a
>six-hour drive home for my lab tech (normally a 20-30 minute drive),
>most of which was stuck in traffic on an interstate. I think the
>final tally was as much as 2inches (5cm) of snow in the worst hit
>areas.
