Make sue you get an external viewfinder, because the finder in the IIIc is not parallax corrected. Leica made a universal finder called VIOOH. The VIDOM is similar, but the image is reversed left/right. The SBOOI is your typical bright line finder, but collectors have driven the prices way up. Voigtlander / Cosina makes a really nice replica of this unit. Obviously the finder doesn't have to be made by Leica. Look here for finders, lenses etc: www.ritzcam.com or www.cameraquest.com for the Voightlander stuff. My IIIc came with a 3.5/50 Elmar. I swapped it for a 2/50 Summicron collapsible. the Cron is a little expensive, but you can get a 2/50 Summitar, which is almost as good, for a lot less. Cosina also makes some lenses and the vintage Canon 1.8/50 is a real bargain. feli ________________________________________________________ feli2@earthlink.net 2 + 2 = 4 www.elanphotos.com
