Here in Belmont we have over thirty inches...measured in a lee area...and it is presently 12 degrees Fahrenheit with a steady ten mph wind and gusts up to 30. Gusts last night exceeded forty-eight MPH. This morning I took pictures of the white out which, like the black cat in the unlit alley, looks like the polar bear in a up to her eyeballs in whipped cream...perhaps Emanuel can describe the conditions better from his arctic experience. The storm is tapering off here but still going strong on Cape Cod and in the Plymouth area. You're a better man than me, looks like a 5-6 foot drift in my driveway... I'm not planning to shovel or clear anything until tomorrow. Jim
