The ink is barely dry, so the book is orderable right now at Asia 2000 Ltd (www.asia2000.com.hk) in Hong Kong or directly from me for US$27.50 or equivalent, inclusive of shipping. We're busy pushing the book into distributor channels (B&N, Amazon, etc.) so that it'll be orderable through wider channels soon. Thanks for your interest. I hope you enjoy it. Nelon Sent: Friday, January 21, 2005 02:45 To: Leica Users Group Subject: [Leica] To Boston Luggers - Indonesia Slide Show and Reading If you're in the area, I'll be doing a reading from my newly published book on remote Indonesian tribes in Borneo, The Spice Islands and Sulawesi and showing a ten minute twenty nine second multimedia show next Tuesday evening January 25th at 7 PM. The book's title is "Pursuing a Dream: A Wandering Executive's Journeys into Indonesia". It's just been published by Asia 2000 Ltd. in Hong Kong. The 217 page hardcover book (80 pages of Leica-taken color images) is a travelogue of my experiences in Indonesia getting to the remotest areas I could find and writing about and shooting the experiences along the way. Everything was shot with a pair of R8's using 19mm to 250mm lenses on Ektachrome. The location of the event is: The Walker Center 144 Hancock Street Auburndale (Newton), MA Their phone number is 617-969-3919 or you can reach me at 508-647-0852 if you need directions or want more info. Hope to see some Luggers there. Jim Nelon _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group. See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
