As I type, the young ladies in the PR section just over the way are teaching each other how to use their new Digital Rebel, to take publicity shots of various dudes in the firm, and for some award presentation this lunchtime. "Oh, it's all in pieces! Does anyone know how to assemble this?" "Can't I look at the screen to take the picture?" "No, its an SLR" "What's an SLR?" "It's one of those cameras that goes black when you take the photo. Or maybe that's when the lens cap is on. I dunno really." "Do I have to use this big flash? I'll be using it outside." "Oh, just turn it on and it'll sort itself out. And take heap and heaps of photos so you get at least one good one. That's what the pros do! Fix them up later on the computer." "Oh, OK!" "Is this as close as it zooms? Gee, it's not very good is it?" "Well, you better walk around a bit and get used to it. Just take some shots and you'll get the hang of it." Lots of flashes and giggles at the moment. Maybe I should mosey on over. No. The pretty one just took a shot of me, for practice, while I'm typing this. hehe. :-) Thankyou Canon. ???
