I have bought the 5000ED and the SF-210, and I've begun to report on its batch scanning capacity. You do need a huge HD space to do this and I mean huge, but given a fast computer and large HD, I've found I can scan up to 30 to 40 slides in a batch without problem: Kodachromes are another issue. Lets hear what others say, but I'm happy to offer more on the Nikon and my experience with different slides if you wish Cheers On 20/01/2005, at 7:19 AM, Kyle Cassidy wrote: > Hey kids -- I have about six million slides that need to be scanned. > I'd > like to batch scan them, maybe in batches of 10, six million at once > is not > practical, they don't all fit in the same room at once..
