The lightmeter is a bit like a Leica, metering by light reflecting off 
a white patch on the shutter. It is quite simple to use it well if one 
understands this. It is just as prone to error as any simple reflected 
light system and the normal precautions are appropriate. That said, I 
have had super results, as one would expect from Leica lenses!
