When doing color, prior to printing throw on a curve to increase
contrast - darken the midtones and boost the highlights. You might also
try setting the printer for one click into the 'cool tones' setting.

Found one at the local Fry's for $129. Figured what the heck. The 4 
cartridges in the box probably cost close to that anyway, and an
enlarger 
costs more than that and I would still have to set up the wet darkroom
:-) 
I went by Ted and B.D. try and true KISS principles and just let the 
printer does its thing. Wow, the B&W does look very nice! Huzzahh!

Next I will try some color prints and I will refrain from doing Color 
Profiling blah blah blah and see how that looks. Good thing I bought an 
extra Gray cartridge as it appears to sucks ink like there is no
tomorrow....
