The issue for WA lenses and parallax is more simple...
For wide(r) angled lenses, the VF parallax at close distances is less
significant than for longer lenses. The field is bigger, therefore the VF
error is less as a proportion of the whole. It is still there, but to a
lesser degree.

This is NOT the case for a RF. RF are used to focus, not view. If the
image is ... let me use the word fuzzy here to discern some out of the
order RF alignment , sort of like a vertical alignment in a M series
camera... fuzzy, then coincident image match focus is rather difficult, if
not reasonably impossible. This is of course lens independent. So the
focus issue is still an issue.

I am not saying that CV or ZI did not solve the problem, but that it needs
to be evaluated when you actually can get the camera into your hands.

Obstruction of the VF by the lens, is more an issue of what lens you have on
the camera. A traditional 35 Summicron has no issues ( too short). the
Noctilux certainly will have more of an issue by comparison.

BTW, when you move the VF/RF closer to the edge of the camera, you make the
parallax issue worse. No free lunch here.
