The problem with the R3A as a replacement for the M7 is that you're 
restricting yourself to a short baseline & to a viewfinder that only shows 
40 mm framelines & longer. If that fits your shooting style, fine. I agree 
with Karen. The Zeiss Ikon presents neither of these limitations.
