Subject: [Leica] Leica iiif black dial flash synchronization question
From: marc.osborne at gmail.com (Marc Osborne)

Hello everyone,

I have a Leica iiif black dial. When I've looked up flash sync
information on line the information I've found indicates I should set
the dial to 2 and the shutter speed to 1/30. The shutter speeds on
mine go from "B" to a red "25-1" to "50", "75" etc. What does "25-1"
mean (other than 1/25 of course) and why is it in red? Finally, should
I use 1/25 since I don't have a 1/30 shutter speed? Maybe the
information I've found is wrong?

Thanks,

Marc
