Just to add my 2 cents I just got a Jupiter 3 (50mm 1.5) and have been 
impressed with its performance. I've been playing around with Russian optics 
for about a year and have generally been pleased 
with the results I've been getting.

The first was taken with the 50mm 1.5 on my CV R3a, the second with an 85mm 
f2 jupiter 9 on my M7
