I don't put much trust in those serial # lists I have a M4-2 that is 
listed as a R-3 olive!  So really what does it prove, also back in the 
mid 70's I sent two M-3's back to Wetzlar for repair and had one of them
redone in Black, does that make it a fake if it was done by the factory?
Just keep running film in it and don't worry.....
