But of course I've done as I have two Nikkor 24mm the 2 and the 2.8, again, 
and I have to say that the 2.8 is far superior -unless light is lacking, 
but, IMHO, not better than Nikkor 28mm 2.8. And yes, I stick with my 'cron, 
excepting digital where I use only Canon and, through a Stephen Gandy 
adaptor, a 28mm Nikkor PC as Canon has not corresponding tilt lens but 24, 
45 and 90. BTW I'd forgotten this 28PC in my list of 28mm!
