Peter,

As long as everything else appears to be OK, I would not worry about it. 
Several of my Leica M lenses, including the 35mm Summilux ASPH (which is 
  obviously much younger than your Summarit) do exactly that. I have 
never noticed any ill effects where it counts--on the images.
