Subject: [Leica] Panasonic Lumix DMS series

Do any of you have experience with cameras in this series - with the 
Leica 12X zoom, constant f/2.8 lens?

IF it's a true Leica quality lens (IF there is such a thing - there 
seems to be some dispute on this list!) they would, with the IS, seem 
to be attractive  cameras.

Is the low megapixel size a serious drawback?
