Subject: [Leica] lock frameline preview lever?

Is there anyway to reasonable way to 'lock' the frameline preview lever (M7).
Would seem like a nice feature when using a lens that doesn't bring up 
correct framelines (like goggle-less lens, or LTM lens with wrong M mount 
adapter).

I could always >gasp< tape the lever in place.
