"Worcestershire Sauce." So THAT was the missing ingredient in the grilled  
cheese sammichs my mother used to make. Heavenly they were,  nonetheless.

Sounds  like every grilled cheese sandwich my Mom used to make...two
slices white  bread, butter, couple of slices of Kraft American, a few
dashes of  Worcestershire Sauce,
