IMHO if Leica does again a viewfinder like the M3 with the great framelines for the 50 would be successful, the 50 on a M3 is a great combination for my personal taste. Do you prefer slightly wide, a 50, long? Personally, I'd go with a 35 'cron. Why? Because I have one and never take it off the camera. But, I prefer the 35 as my standard lens. It is slightly wide.
