Subject: [Leica] Why do we do it ?

We convince ourselves we need to have the lastest APO, ASPH Super Noctiluxor 
Lens at $ 5,000 ?  Why ?  
 
I do it...I started with a  Leica CL and 40/2 + 90/4 to see what all this 
Leica stuff is about....then I needed an M6 'cause the CL  *MAY* not provide 
accurate focusing on fast lenses...then I needed the latest 50 
summicron....then I had to try the Dual Range Summi 'cause everyone raves 
about it...THEN, I had to have the latest 90 Elmarit cause it so damn 
good....then I needed the 35 summicron 'cause the Bokeh is so sweet....Then, 
I realizes I 'm not a RF guy - I'm an SLR guy....so, I bought an R3 and 
SL....then the latest 50 Summi...and the latest 90 Elmarit....... AND yet, I 
have owned Pentax 67 for 10 years and it really will provide much *better* 
pics than any of my Leica lenses could....sure, the Pentax is huge....but if 
I am going to take time to take an interesting photo - might as well bring 
out the big guns.....
 
I NEED HELP.....DO YOU ?
