Simon,

It's nice to have a willing model when you are house-bound. She's a real
doll. Hope both of you whip the bug soon.

> My youngest and myself have been more or less floored this week with some
sort of lung eating bug.
> I made her a little tent to watch 30,s cartoons from and made myself a
contraption i wouldn,t want to take out on the street.
> It was prompted a bit by the recent discussions on low shutter speeds.
> What i did was to put a small Kenyon gyroscopic stabiliser underneath my
180 R lens and used that with a 1.4 extender.
> Luckily i have large hands so could still just move the focusing ring
with a finger.
> Our sickness makes us both a bit slow so that helped.
> To my suprise it worked to about 1/4 second or so .These three are at 1/6
th 1/4 and 1/2 second.
> All with an indicated aperture of 3.4 which with the 1.4 extender should
really be 2.8 according to Ted.
