At the banquet retiring at the end of the year Leica CEO Hanns-Peter Cohn
was honored by a nice diploma like thing which would be brought back to him
by Stefan Daniel.

We were reminded that he came into Leica with the advance arraignment that
he would be leaving in about 5 years. I do recall that.
I believe he left in success.

Stefan Daniel, my "Leicaguy" I was mentioning before.
You could tell he liked Herr Cohn.
Or he sure fooled the hell out of ME.

Here's the new guy by the way - Herr Coenen:

He's just 43!
If he appeared at my doorstep to mow my lawn I'd have him have his mother
call me.:)

Hey young blood just what Leica needs.

They said he was the guy who got the Sony Zeiss thing going.
That impressed me.
I love the Sony Zeiss thing.

I think he also said he got the whole thing going with Leica Panasonic.
I LOVE Leica Panasonic!

I even love Panasonic Panasonic!

Also even love Sony even without the Zeiss.

And certainly the Zeiss without the Sony.
