There is 1 more definition of grey market goods. Those goods that are sold
through an official registered dealer, but then RESOLD through another
dealer, that does not have the "franchise". This can be inside the country
of first sale, or between countries. We in the US, see more of this
situation than others, as in this particular methodology, currency exchange
rates become the main driving force. Right now, there are few grey deals
like this as the USD is so lousy throughout the world, and especially Europe
where the cameras are made. When the USD gets strong, these deals are all
over..... and the grey camera becomes more popular.

Why is this done at all? Because the original dealer needs cash. Going out
of business, cash flow issues, or even if he tries to buy a lot and them
sell to his friends so everyone gets better margins.
