I know that David Hume Kennerly won a Pulitzer in Vietnam, but it was being Gerald Ford's WH shooter that made his name. My point was that regular members of the WH press corps are shooting with the digital cameras they need to shoot with - and the President's personal shooter can do whatever he wants.... Hell, if I had that job I, too, might chose to use my Ms. In fact, tomorrow I have my firs shoot for the New England Journal of Medicine - and plan to shoot both digital - E-1 - and film - Ms... ;-) -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Greg Locke Sent: Thursday, October 21, 2004 2:43 PM To: 'Leica Users Group' Subject: RE: [Leica] Leica back in action Thanks for pointing this out BD. This is PR photography Coincidently, over on the Canadian journalism list we have been discussing journalists who leave the profession to become PR and "communications" people ("Flacks" being the industry descriptor) for politicians and private companies whom they once may had reported on. ...a pointless pirouette at the point of a pin ensued. Ethics and all that messy stuff journalists fret over while no one else seem to care. Eric Draper is a fine fellow and photographer and has executed the photographic equivalent. ...and congratulations to him on a smart career move. :^) Greg Locke St. John's, Newfoundland http://blog.greglocke.com ----------------------------- Independent journalism from Newfoundland & Labrador > -----Original Message----- > From: lug-bounces+locke=straylight.ca@leica-users.org > [mailto:lug-bounces+locke=straylight.ca@leica-users.org] On > Behalf Of B.
