I think someone may have, but last week my large carryon camera bag
(with _lots_ of spare batteries) went through airport security in
Oklahoma City (where they painstakingly visually hand inspected every
camera body and peered through every lens) and Boston (where they didn't
even open the bag) and not a word was said about the batteries.
