I have an M6 I never use, but take it out every few months to click the
shutter a few times at each speed. Click, wind, click, wind, for each
shutter speed, from the quickest all the way to one second. At the
slowest settings, once I got into the rythym of it, I could easily have set
the speed to 1/4, released the shutter, and immediately wound it again. I
thought about it first and didn't.
