I find editing out photos with personal meaning to be really hard, but if you can leave folks wanting more then they think you're a better photographer than you really are! BTW, no need to be jealous; you have shown some wonderful photos (I'm thinking particularly of the hot air balloon series). Or maybe you're talking about the trip...in that case "just do it!" Love of travel is a wonderful thing to encourage in a child. It's also a great way to meet people in other countries as everyone wants to check out babies/toddlers. My wife and I both grew up travelling with our parents, and that's still how we spend most of our free time and non-Leica dollars. When we have kids we hope to be able to do the same with them.
