Subject: [Leica] camera weights (was: Zeiss Ikon...)

Hi,

some compared weights (* = home measurements, say +-5grams):

Zorki (must be close to leicaII)  418 g *
M2 (with fast loading kit)        576 g *
M6 non TTL                        550 g *
CLE minolta                       386 g *
BessaT                            385 g
Bessa R2                          425 g
Hexar                             560 g
ContaxRF with built-in meter      750 g*

It comes out that the Contax RF is the winner :-)

The Sonnar 2/50 weighs 151 g, probably thanks to its simple mechanism, but
this is still more than e.g. the Zorki 1.5/50 @ 142g (plus 12 g for the
M/L39 ring). Anyway Contax + 2/50 weighs more than M6 + cron 2/50.
