I think if you asked 1000 non emotional "experts" or some such which was THE
rangefinder camera. Was or IS....
4 would say Contax. 3 would say Nikon. 2 would say Canon.
And 991 would say Leica.

The superiority of the Leica rangefinder system doesn't get a lot of flack.
