Bronicas were my first 6x6 cameras after the Super Ikontas and the
Rolleiflex 2.8F and before starting with Hasselblad material. As it happens
with all my equipment the very old S2 and the newer EC-TL -first automatic
camera with in body metering- do work perfectly as do the set of lenses from
40 to 400mm manufactured by Nikon and -by the time- excellent. I have only
one mechanical failure in the last 40 years in the S2. I'm sad to hear this
ending and I've found really a big lot of wedding photographers shooting
with ETR cameras. Whatever every of us are thinking about the exodus to
digital is unstoppable.

I handed in Photokina the R back and I didn't like it. I should have
preferred a completely new R digital body. If Leica friends forgive me I,
instead of, ordered a Canon EOS 1 Ds Mk II with which I was allowed by Canon
fellows to shoot some pics .
