P.S. But don't get me wrong - I'd love to see some Leica 4/3
lenses....especially some fast primes...but I just don't expect to see
it...

Well, Panasonic has already made a big announcement that they plan to
take on Sony and increase their share of the digital pie exponentially,
and using Leica lenses as part of the draw. I'm hoping (read: praying)
that Leica introduces a mid-priced digital camera (around $800-$1000) at
Photokina, one with some real features. We'll see.

I would not be surprised if a 'Four Thirds' digital camera made by
Panasonic would be announced soon, since they joined the 'Four Thirds
System standard' for digital cameras in February.

And to see it using interchangeable lenses designed and made by Leica.

Photokina 2004 or PMA 2005 ?
