I'n my opinion this must have a dark RED or ND filter, as a blue filter
would lighten the blue sky (I'm talking about B&W).

I remember I had spoken about that film 24 years ago when I worked in a
motion picture lab in Switzerland. The color analyst had said that the main
part of the procedure called "nuit americaine" was done in the lab during
color analysis (when making the print).

>Wasn't the nuit am?ricaine effect a very simple technique of putting a blue

>A similar effect can also be obtained with a circular polarizing filter, but
>with the bleu filter it's nicer.
