It's obvious to me how to handle this.
Define some standard scene, standard ISO, standard shooting conditions,
and have both of you (and anybody else who wants to play) shoot 2 frames
and upload them in full resolution to the net. Then we can all see this.
Perhaps some of us who are Photoshop experts can extract magnified
sections for everyone else to see.
