Subject: [Leica] Sal DiMarco on digital

This weekend I made a trek down to Bulldog News here in Seattle. At
Bulldog, you can get all sorts of esoteric periodicals, including some of
those photo magazines we bandy about here on the LUG. I picked up a copy
of Black and White Photography (the British one), and the Fall 2004 issue
of Photographer's Forum, wherein is printed Ken Lassiter's interview with
Sal DiMarco. It's a good read, and will bring a knowing smile to the face
of anyone who's met Sal.

Sal said that he expected to be shooting all digital eventually, even
though he preferred film. He also said: "Over the history of photography,
with every major technical advance, the pictures have gotten better and
better. But with digital imaging, they are not better, just faster."
