The Springer was having such a wonderful time racing up and down the beach that I did not try for any other image. You are correct, the web is not the place to show such a nuance, but blown up a bit the scale adds to the image IMHO. On the other hand, the healing brush could just heal all the animate objects out of the image. :) Don dorysrus@mindspring.com -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+dorysrus=mindspring.com@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+dorysrus=mindspring.com@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Jim McIntyre Sent: Saturday, March 20, 2004 10:01 PM To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] Don's PAW 11 Off Season Don, I've only once had the pleasure of being down Highway 1...unfortunately that was the weekend my Nikon FM was lifted from the taxi cab after I forgot to bring it into the hotel! (Pre Leica days....) When I was there I witnessed parasurfers along the beach...first time I'd ever seen that. Serves me right for not keeping my camera on my shoulder or neck instead of beside me on the seat. Your photo is wonderful to look at. However, I'm not sure the web format allows full appreciation of the image. I looked at the photo quickly before reading your entire description. The small blip on the left distracted me from the magnificence of the vista. After I re-read your email I realized this must be the couple with the dog, which I can now see towards the bottom middle of the image. I'm not sure that that aspect of your intented impression works as well, but the image brings back memories of my one visit and is very well done. Do you have any others from same session without the couple? jm ----- Original Message ----- From: "Don Dory" <dorysrus@mindspring.com> To: <lug@leica-users.org> Sent: Saturday, March 20, 2004 8:14 PM Subject: [Leica] Don's PAW 11 Off Season > Coming back from the college tour we tended to take Highway 1 down the > coast.
