Dante,
I think you were moving to the 85 F1.4 Nikkor which is a plenty sharp
lens with few flaws.  The Helios has some definite optical flaws wide
open especially at the middle distances so I suspect you were looking to
make your life a little easier.  :)  But I do appreciate your lightening
your bag.
