I take your point, B.D., and it's well made.

BUT...in the field of sports photography you see darn few shooters
using Nikon and more and more selling their Nikon gear for Canon.

We can HOPE that Nikon gets its act together and mounts a come-back
against Canon. Then the current Canon shooters will unload THAT gear
and I can scarf up some long glass!
