Also, you might try "Colours," at 3431 Carlin Springs Road, Bailey's
Crossroads, VA (703-379-1121 and at www.coloursimaging.com). They do B&W as
well as color.

Greg:

My knowledge is limited to DC & the close-in 'burbs,
but FWIW, I think Penn Camera is probably the best
place to get film (although prices will be higher than
B&H/Adorama); Ritz Camera has 1 of their bigger stores
@ 1750 L St., NW that might also have decent prices.

For development, in addition to Chrome & Nat'l Geo.
(www.nationalgeographic.com/labs), there is Black &
White (www.blackwhitelab.com) in Arlington, VA, which,
true to its name, specializes in B&W (which might be
perfect for you judging from your film list). Prices
for development + contact is usually in the
$12-13/roll range. Attention bargain hunters: right
now, Chrome is offering 20% of all film processing
(doesn't include contacts) for film brought in on
Wednesdays.

Will be in Washington, D.C., later this month and
prefer to buy most of
the
film I'll need there rather than travel with it. Can
anyone recommend
purveyors of:

-- Tri-X
-- Fuji Acros 100 and Neopan 1600

May also have the film processed and proofed there;
can anyone offer
the
name(s) of a reliable lab or two?

On- or off-list replies appreciated.

Thank you.

Greg Rubenstein
