Subject: [Leica] my cup runneth over...

I shun shooting in broad daylight for that very reason. My eyes can
accommodate for changes in brightness, but film is much less forgiving.
For me, lowering the contrast doesn't help...it only makes it muddy.

Steve for me tihs image is so contrasty that it's difficult for me to
gain more than a feel for the fabric and the cup leaving me frustrated
for the person.

To offer good critique I should try to what I'd change...but I don't
think I'm sophisticated enough to say beyond I'd want to explore the
image working on the middle grays which seem both necessary and
absent in order for me to connect.
