Subject: [Leica] Last week HCB, This Week Julia Child
From: jls at runbox.com (Jeffery Smith)

My mother-in-law lives to feed me. She seems to equate fat with healthy.
I wait until she leaves the kitchen, and then give my wife's 3 shih-tzus
half of the food. Now they are fat too, and they're going to blow my
cover (jumping up and down every time I enter the kitchen).

Go for it! I've lost 38 pounds since the end of March with another 60
or so to go!

Funny thing: this time it all sorta makes sense. I just had to do it
to ease my arthritic knees. My wife is doing the same program with me,
it's a modified South Beach with a good exercise regimen, but I get
red wine sometimes, and a glass of single-malt, a few peanuts at the
ball game, and every once a while so I don't feel deprived: an ice
cream cone. Trips to the super market are noteworthy because we buy
almost no processed foods any more. It's more work, but it's clearly a
damn sight better for me!

Good luck!
