I am new to this group and I have an ignorant question. I am attempting
to make a copy of a favorite print that has lost its negative. I shot
the picture with my recently acquired ASPH 35/2.0.
Can anyone tell me:
1) In order to safeguard my pictures, I intend to send my exposed film
to Ofoto (a part of Kodak that does digitizing and puts them on the
Web),what resolution/pixel the digitized images will I get? And how
does the digitized images compare with, say, the best quality a 4.0 MP
digital camera can produce?
2) Or would you advise a film scanner?
Thanks for your help.

Same here. I'm 3- eh, 28 and I will continue to shoot film with my M's
till they pry them from my cold dead hands. I have a Nikon Supercool
scan and am happier than a pig in a clover field. As I have said before,
I see more than enough pixels at work every day. The last thing I want
to
do in my spare time is sit in front of another computer or have
something
blink and beep at me.
