I feel so doggone enlightened. Just curious though, if I were to ask some of
these "professionals" would it  be ok to seek out those I've worked  with
for over  35 years?

With the exception of Haiti ( where the authorities were trying to kill us)
I've never encountered much animosity except with home grown types. Hell,
Frankenstein could have had a filed day creating  monsters. Just take
ordinary people, give them a gun and a badge, and add a bit of authority.
Voila, instant animosity.

In terms of righteous indignation or self-righteousness  one best stay ready
to be "worked up" on the spur of the moment. Nothing like an adrenaline rush
to clear the cobwebs from our habituated modes of seeing the world in front
of us.
