I've got an 803 in blue but am looking for an 802, 804, 5 or 6 or Dataporter
as they'd be able to hold my 11x14's which I'm stuck on sticking to as my
default size for output. Letter size being so handy and all but my socks
don?t get knocked off by them. And I find the whole concept of "letter sized
images" disconcerting. Next will be printing out portfolios on envelopes.
I think of the Domke satchels as output/input bags.
You've got your camera gear in there plus your prints.
So you can do either thing. Collect or expel.
Do or show.
And I think both things go together super-additively. Like peanut butter on
jelly. Dancing and architecture.
I think a short stack of prints make for great camera gear. Just like a lens
or a body.
You're not all a grabby acquisition kind a guy but have some proof to your
pudding. This makes for more less suspicious or otherwise negative feeling
photo subjects. They see what you're up to.
Images on paper. For proper perusal.

The problem though with the satchels is that they all look like laptop
cases. And the bad guys are out looking to grab those now they could care
less about camera bags. So you're out of the frying pan and into the fire on
the whole crime perfection not get mugged thing.
They bring your bag home upon it up and go "Hey! I've got the OTHER thing!"

Does not for a happy "fence" make.
