John, thanks for asking and thanks to everyone who has tried to be 
helpful. I've checked everything I could think of for a setting that 
would link the subject matter to the reply message but without success. 
It looks like I'm just going to have my replies out of sequence unless 
people search by subject and not by thread. It's more of an irritant 
than anything else and I can live with it....... not like I seem to have 
a choice! ;^)
