I know many other satisfied Ixus 400 users who borrowed mine then bought one! The current model is the 410 or 430, there is aslo a 5mpxl one called the 500 but generally I think 4mpxl is a max to get good results from the tiny sensors, I have not seen 5 or 8 mpxl pictures from P&S as good as the Ixus 400.
