They are specifically remembered and even celebrated.... Tina's sensitive and poetic evocations of life in the third world are beautiful, they feed the imagination, create a new awareness, a new reality, and can make people and even governments want to do something... not because we are bleeding hearts, and therefore weak...but because we are human.
