Peter,
My feeling after using the "bright glowing big machine" in my hands when I
put it to my eye. I should've opted for an LC1 in black ...

An M7 in black is less likely to make a subject think you're nothing more
than some kind of amateur happy snapper because it's black.

But with the Digilux 2 it's just "big and shining" and distracting. Maybe
it's some of my own awareenss that comes to play also. I must admit maybe
it's my years of black bodied M's in front of my face making me more aware
of the digi 2's size and silver glow.

No change is going to happen until I see what the Epson digi looks like, and
more importantly, feels before a change is made. It'll be learning to live
with the shine and size for now.
