The next link is to some of Rei's images using primarily the Noctilux: http://www.bergencountycamera.com/customer_gallery/shinozuka/rei_gallery _main.html As to registering a body and lens, Leica and most good repair people will adjust a specific camera/lens to each other so that focusing is spot on. I don't believe that this is necessary for most, but if your non infinity images are not quite sharp but there are sharp planes in the image then your camera and lens are not quite calibrated to each other. For several years running there was a Spring meet in NY that was quite good for meeting many list members.
