Folks -

In the event that the Quixotic nature of my weekend pursuits leaves me
with my tail between my legs wondering why I ever thought these Leicas
produced exceptional image quality I figure I'd better post some regular
fare inspired by some cool snaps from the group this last week or two.

Seeing as how Sonny, Douglas and Daniel have made the list safe for cat
pictures again here's the Dumbest Cat Snap I may ever take. Returning
home one day I found my cat Alex sitting in front of a cheap poster
repro of a Dennis Stock shot that I like; the M-6 with 85 Nikkor and
T-max 3200@1600 tell the story...

BD's street trio regarding the photographer reminded me that engaging
the subjects can be a good thing; M-6, 21 CV and the T-max again:

And Bob Meier's shot with the two faces in the frame set me to working
up this father-son thing; green channel from Fuji Provia 400 shot with
SL/50 'cron:

Alright, enough of this fast/loose/high speed film/hand-held fun &
games. Now I must prepare to dabble in a world where fussy stuff like
fine textural detail might be important.
Armed with Pea Shooter on 'Pod, I must sally forth...
